Programme
Next year's conference will be held, Lord willing from 15th till 22nd August 2020.
The programme begins with an evening meal followed by an introductory lecture on the Saturday night. Bible Studies commence on Sunday afternoon following the breaking of bread and continue in earnest until Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday is traditionally a day off and group excursion. In the past we have travelled to the Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Castlewellan Forest Park, Tollymore Forest Park and The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.
Bible Studies recommence Thursday morning but finish at lunch time. The afternoon provides a fantastic opportunity to explore the paths through the forest and around the lake — although definitely not before participating in the famed sports afternoon. Dust off your football boots and pack your cricket bat!
Friday follows the same pattern.
Most evenings are replete with open ministry after which Maud’s legendary ice cream, smoothies, drinks and snacks can be enjoyed in the Castle Café.
For those who consider themselves young, there is an opportunity for more studies along a different line. Psalmody and hymn singing are compulsory.
